Therapy & Assessment for Children, Parents, and Couples
If you’re reading this, you may have a child whose struggles don’t have a clear explanation yet. Maybe they’re bright but falling behind, or melting down at home while teachers say everything is fine. Maybe you’ve wondered about ADHD, autism, or dyslexia but keep hearing “wait and see.” Or maybe you’re a new or expecting parent who feels more anxious, overwhelmed, or unlike yourself than you ever expected.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist and a former teacher, with training in infant and early childhood mental health. That lens shapes everything I do: I see a child’s behavior as communication, and I see the parent-child relationship as the heart of healthy development. My focus is comprehensive evaluations of learning, attention, development, giftedness and neurodiversity, with particular expertise in recognizing autism and ADHD in girls and young children, who are often missed.
Understanding is only the beginning, so I also offer support for what comes next: parent coaching and parent-child interaction therapy to strengthen your bond with your child, perinatal and postpartum therapy for the emotional shifts of becoming a parent, and couples therapy for partners navigating family transitions.
I meet children through play, partner with parents at every step, and look at strengths as closely as struggles. You’ll leave with real answers and practical next steps.
The first step is just a conversation.
My Philosophy:
I believe meaningful understanding begins with meaningful connection. Relationships are the foundation for insight, growth, and lasting change, whether I’m providing therapy, guiding parents, or conducting a comprehensive evaluation.
My training in infant and early childhood mental health shapes how I work: I see behavior as communication and the parent-child relationship as central to healthy development. Rooted in attachment theory, my approach also incorporates mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral tools, personalized to who you and your family are.
I combine evidence-based practice with genuine curiosity about each person’s strengths and how they experience the world. With children, I use play, conversation, and creativity so they can feel comfortable being themselves. With parents, I build a collaborative partnership grounded in trust, open communication, and practical support.
People are more than a diagnosis, a test score, or a presenting concern. My goal is for every family to feel seen, understood, and equipped with the clarity and confidence to move forward.
